    Welcome to ContractAI App (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our mobile application (the “App”).
    By downloading or using ContractAI App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

     
    1. Eligibility

    You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your province or territory) to use ContractAI App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

     
    2. Description of the Service

    ContractAI App is an on-device AI tool that helps you review, summarize, and interpret contract language.
    The App operates entirely on your phone. No data or document you analyze is uploaded to external servers.

    The App is designed for informational use only and does not provide legal advice.
    You should always consult a qualified lawyer for professional legal guidance.

     
    3. User Responsibilities

    By using the App, you agree to:

    • Use it only for lawful purposes.

    • Upload only documents that you have the right to use and analyze.

    • Not use the App to store or process illegal, harmful, or offensive content.

    • Not attempt to modify, copy, or reverse-engineer any part of the App’s software.

    You are responsible for managing and safeguarding any documents stored on your own device.

     
    4. Privacy and Data Handling

    ContractAI App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal or document data.
    All analysis happens locally on your device, and results remain private to you.

    • We do not require account creation or sign-in.

    • No files or information are uploaded to our servers.

    • If you uninstall the App, all related data is automatically deleted from your device.

    5. AI Disclaimer

    The App uses artificial intelligence to help analyze and summarize contracts.
    While it strives for accuracy, AI-generated insights may not always be complete or legally precise.

    ContractAI App is not a substitute for professional legal review.
    You assume full responsibility for any decisions made based on AI-generated output.

     
    6. Intellectual Property

    All intellectual property rights in the App — including software, AI models, design, and branding — are owned or licensed by ContractAI Inc.

    You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

    You may not:

    • Copy or distribute the App or its content.

    • Use it to create competing services.

    • Remove or alter any copyright or trademark notices.

     
    7. Apple App Store Terms

    If you downloaded ContractAI App through Apple’s App Store:

    • Your use of the App must also comply with Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.

    • Any payments or in-app purchases are processed by Apple, not by us.

    • We do not collect or store your payment or billing information.

     
    8. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, ContractAI Inc. and its affiliates are not liable for:

    • Any loss of data, income, or reputation, or

    • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

    Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.

     
    9. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ContractAI Inc., its officers, employees, and partners from any claims or damages resulting from:

    • Your misuse of the App, or

    • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

     
    10. Termination

    You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
    We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.

    If the App is discontinued, your existing local data will remain on your device until you delete it.

     
    11. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in technology, law, or App functionality.
    When we make updates, we’ll revise the “Last Updated” date above.
    Your continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.

     
    12. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, specifically the Province of Ontario, without regard to conflict of law principles.
    Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
